And we’re baaaaack! The roundup returns, starting with some of my favourite film-related podcasts. Since I’ve been retooling the site, I’ve missed the roundups for the past few weeks, so I’m playing catch-up here; as a result, some shows have listings with two or three back-episodes! But, hey, that just means there’s more podcast gold for you to dig into 🙂
Today’s roundup includes a triple-shot of Phantom Erik at 100 Years of Horror, as he takes you back to the swinging sixties for some great macabre movie fare; a double-shot of Cinema Beef Podcast, including an extended show where Gary Hill and Jamie Jenkins scope out the entire Exorcist franchise (Jamie also interviews the actress who played the demon Pazuzu in the 1973 film); a great episode of Cadaver Lab Indies where Mike Cadaver and Johnny Krueg invite you to a Murder Party; an awesome Corpse Cast episode where Mike C. and Shane Diablo take you on a ride to hell with Nicolas Cage; a review show where Creep Creepersin expresses deep sadness over Rob Zombie’s Lords of Salem, and a whole lot m– oh, wait. No, that’s it.
Don’t worry, though; this is only Part One. Of Three. 😀 Continue reading
This roundup focuses on some of my favourite film-related podcasts! The guys at Attack of the Killer podcast continue their two-part retrospective of director George A. Romero; the Horror Movie Podcast site is finally re-releasing episodes of the short-lived but fantastic Horror Metropolis podcast from last year; and Johnny at Krueger Nation continues his awesome retrospective of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Wrong Turn franchises! And that’s just for starters!
THIS JUST IN — Creep Creepersin has started a daily ‘news’-cast called, appropriately enough, ‘The DAILY CREEP’!
Hey, bunky! Are you tired of all the silliness and bald-faced lies you get from them darn liberal and right-wing media outlets? Well, sure you are! So why not save some time and have all those same lies pre-chewed and then spoon-fed to you by the irreverent mad genius, Creep Creepersin?
This week on the Sunday Podcast Roundup, Roman Mars of the 99% Invisible Podcast tells you where to find the best beer in the world; Captain Jeff of Airline Pilot Guy reports on rogue spiders attacking air traffic controllers; and Chris Kenneally of Beyond the Book gets the details on the 166-million-dollar settlement in the big e-book price-fixing case — and how you may be entitled to some of it!
This week’s Sunday podcast roundup offers something for everyone: Terror Troop podcast celebrates Shark Week 2013 with some great shark-related news and reviews; Grammar Girl gives Victoria’s Secret a dressing-down over a major typo in a recent print ad; author Anthony Bruno joins Movie Podcast Weekly to talk about his strange experience creating a novelization based on the movie, Se7en; and that’s just for starters! Plus, there’s a fresh, new face in the group as I add the fascinating 99 Percent Invisible podcast to my list of too-cool-to-miss shows!
This week’s Sunday podcast roundup is a little late. (Sorry, I’m playing catch-up!) Anyway, I’m changing the layout to make it easier to find your favourite podcasts. Enjoy!
