This week on the Sunday Podcast Roundup, Roman Mars of the 99% Invisible Podcast tells you where to find the best beer in the world; Captain Jeff of Airline Pilot Guy reports on rogue spiders attacking air traffic controllers; and Chris Kenneally of Beyond the Book gets the details on the 166-million-dollar settlement in the big e-book price-fixing case — and how you may be entitled to some of it!
This week, the Sunday roundup contains all kinds of podcast-ey goodness: Nature tells you why only one in three people on earth can drink milk; 100 Years of Horror takes you back to 1959, when director William Castle used Percepto technology to shock theatre audiences out of their seats; Grammar Girl explains why some people feel entitled to say things like ‘we are not amused’ without being ironic! And that’s just for starters — enjoy!
In this week’s podcast roundup, we look at some great (and grating) movies from today and the past, the challenges of no-budget filmmaking, and the future of podcasting, science fiction, and pizza delivery. Bon appetit!

This week on AIRLINE PILOT GUY, Captain Jeff updates you on the Asiana 214 accident and the continuing problems that plague the new 787 Dreamliners from Boeing. Then he talks about Domino’s Pizza’s plans to use drone helicopters to deliver pizzas in the U.K. (Great idea. The only thing standing in their way, of course, is a guy with a loaded shotgun and a hankering for free pizza.)

•• NEW SHOW •• (Well, new to me :-))
Phantom Erik, co-host of the Spew Podcast, has just uploaded Episode 45 of his own 100 YEARS OF HORROR podcast! This is a pretty awesome show, where he tracks the changes and developments in horror films over the past century, one year at a time. This episode covers the year 1956, a time when the horror industry was going through some pretty major ‘sea changes.’ The movie on tap: The Black Sheep, starring Basil Rathbone, Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney Jr., and John Carradine! (BTW, if you want to see the list of movies he’s covered so far, you can check it out here.)
Here are the latest episodes of some awesome podcasts from around the web. I haven’t reviewed any of them yet, so you may want to check the respective sites for more information before you download. Enjoy!
(Oh, wait! You can also find information about the below podcasts on my About the Podcasts page.)
